An Introduction to the Societies

The two educational societies, Ch. Charan Singh Memorial Educational Society and Maharani Lakshmi Bai Memorial Educational Society, oversee the colleges known as Doon (P.G.) College of Agriculture Science and Technology (DCAST), Doon (P.G.) Paramedical College and Hospital (DPMC&H), Doon Valley College of Education (DVCE), and Doon (P.G.) College of Agriculture and Allied Sciences (DCAAS).

In honour of the great Ch. Charan Singh, the Ch. Charan Singh Memorial Educational Society was founded in 1987. Their primary goal is to improve youth employability in Uttarakhand and throughout the country by means of training, education, and research. Ch. Charan Singh’s unwavering efforts and commitment are a major source of inspiration, giving our society fresh life.
