Department of Computer Application

The Bachelor in Computer Applications (BCA) is a highly sought-after program for students aspiring to build a career in the IT industry. This three-year course, divided into six semesters, covers essential subjects such as database management, computer networking, data structures, software engineering, and core programming languages including C, C++, AI, Python programming, R- programming, Java, C# etc. The program is designed to provide strong technical knowledge and practical skills, preparing students for careers in computer applications and software development. The program is aligned with the New Education Policy 2020, and students have the option to pursue a fourth-year research-focused study after completing the regular course.

Upon completing the BCA program, students have the option to pursue a Master of Computer Applications (MCA), which offers advanced studies and further specialization in the field of computer applications.

The institute has inbuilt computer lab with latest technology and configurations. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled (200MBPS) and students have access to internet across the whole campus. The students are free to visit computer lab in their free time to enhance their technical knowledge.

Eligibility: The students seeking BCA course must have cleared 10+2 with mathematics as one of the subjects.
